  A great pub if you're looking for a good stiff drink, there food is great if your not exactly picky. I'm vegetarian and my Mother who I usually dine with is Vegan and my choices are somewhat limited and I believe as a Vegan she cannot order anything. If you're looking for a reasonable price, good drinks and a friendly atmosphere then look no further than Fionn MacCool's Orangeville.

  Came for 'Sunday Brunch'. Service was very slow even though there were only a few people there. Very few choices for a brunch menu & premium prices for eggs And bacon.
  
  Lousy value: stick with one of many better breakfast places in Orangevile.
  
  Finn's lunch and dinner menus are better and the poor breakfast diminished the whole brand.

  The food quality here had never disappointed. We have been dining here regularly over the last few years and have never had a sub par experience with the quality. I would classify their menu as high end comfort food with interesting variety. The only downside is, as because they are part of a conglomerate of brands, they are forced to change their menu, and as a regular customer this is always a gamble. Service is always decent, slightly above average. Special mention for the manager of the Orangeville location who has always been extremely personable, and genuinely interested in our experience. At the end of the day, Fionn is one of our go-to restaurants for our family of four. Never disappoints.

  Fionn MacCool's in Guelph has the most amazing Salmon and leek pie, where you can taste the pastry is made on site. Light, flaky, and delicious. We travelled to Orangeville, and I thought, I would like to have this again. The pastry was disappointing, in that it was chewy and heavy. However, the staff were very friendly, and attentive, and the rest of the food was good. This location remains at the level of ordinary pub restaurant, whereas the Guelph location has elevated themselves above this.

  Excellent meal, great waiitresses and nice atmosphere. Not a five because it was a bit dark and dismal. Place needs a happy face stuck on it.
